Steve is a finance and insurance professional, entrepreneur, and industry consultant. He served as Director of Recruiting at AFLAC, as well as founded companies that have grown to national coverage. He launched Checkcare Systems in 1983 and expanded to 47 offices and over 60,000 merchant locations in the USA. In 1999, Steve founded Transcom Payment Services, an ISO sponsored by CB&T to represent Visa, Discover, Master Card, and AMEX. He sold the business to Merchant E Solutions in 2005 and is now dedicated to educating and mentoring small businesses to help them grow and achieve their goals, as well as serving on various advisory boards.
